When you come to a new puzzle, you'll know which side is to move by the following notation: "1. ?" means white makes the first move and "1… ?" means black makes the first move.

The King icon always shows the color of who moves and the number to it's right is the current move number.

The move list on the right also shows whose move it is. To open and close the move drawer click the little divet or hit the M key.
